Our client, a prominent player in the IT sector, is currently seeking a skilled Functional UK Payroll Consultant with expertise in Oracle to join their team. This role involves leading and supporting a payroll implementation for an existing client in the retail sector, starting immediately on a contract basis for a duration of 10 months.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support payroll implementation activities for an existing retail sector client. Conduct design workshops to gather and document payroll solution requirements. Configure Oracle Cloud HCM, including UK Payroll, Fast Formula, element design, and payroll process flows. Provide insights and configurations for absence management where necessary. Utilise OTBI reporting and SQL for payroll data analysis and reporting. Ensure payroll integrations are effectively managed and maintained. Maintain a strong understanding of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and related regulations. Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and problem-solving.Job Requirements:Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, particularly in UK Payroll. Proficient in Fast Formula configuration, element design, and payroll process flows. An understanding of OTBI reporting, SQL, and payroll integrations is preferred. Strong business acumen with knowledge of UK payroll practices, tax laws, and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct design workshops and document payroll solutions.
