Civil Supervisor/ GF - Wales and the SouthwestAbout the job Matcon Civil Engineering Ltd are looking to appoint a Civil Site Supervisor to join our Infrastructure - Water Sector/Heavy Civils Team.Role & Responsibilities·        Implement daily site diary and allocation sheets·        Facilitate statutory legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation·        Conducting/recording site inspections.·        Ensuring all works are carried out in line with approved method statements·        Review and adaptation of risk assessments.·        Assist with all ordering & plant allocation.Person specification:·        Extensive experience of the construction industry reinforced concrete works, pipelines (pumped and gravity) hard landscaping, roads and drainage etc·        Proven people management skills (including the management of sub-contractors)·        Understand teams’ strengths and weaknesses·        Practical hands-on approach and leads from the frontTraining requirements (training provided if shortfall)·        SMSTS or SSSTS·        CSCS or NPORS·        First aid·        Confined spaces·        Street worksExcellent rate and package to the right candidate.Location Wales and SouthwestFor more information about the role please note this is an advert for our job vacancy and therefore may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities or aspects of the role described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of Matcon Civil Engineering Ltd.For a full role profile, please send CV to The closing date for this vacancy may be subject to change any time at the sole discretion of the business.
