About the RoleAs Health and Safety Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and embedding a proactive safety culture across the organisation. From conducting audits and inspections to delivering vital training and supporting site managers, you’ll be a visible and valued presence across all sites.This is not just a compliance role—it’s an opportunity to influence change, educate teams, and drive engagement. The role involves regular travel across operational sites, providing variety, visibility, and the chance to truly make an impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the implementation of a safety-first culture, influencing behaviour at all levelsConduct audits, inspections, and produce comprehensive reports with actionable insightsDeliver trusted advice and guidance on all Health & Safety mattersLead incident investigations and drive continuous improvementCollaborate closely with site managers and external regulatorsAssist in developing engaging training programmes and toolkitsSupport with risk assessments, improvement plans and policy reviewsChampion safe systems of work and raise awareness of best practiceWhat You'll Need to SucceedMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety roleNEBOSH General Certificate (or higher qualification such as NVQ Level 5)Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislationExperience supporting multiple sites or working in a regional roleConfident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skillsStrong report writing and analytical capabilityAbility to travel regularly across the Midlands but it is a national role.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant safety management toolsWhy ApplyBe part of a high-performing brand with an incredible reputationWork for a company that puts people, safety, and community at the core of what they doJoin a team that encourages innovation and values your expertiseEnjoy the variety and autonomy of a multi-site roleLong-term career prospects with ongoing learning and development
