These programmes support the Department's goal of reducing re-offending and contributing to a safer Aotearoa. Our team carries out clinical assessments and group treatment, provides supervision, training and advice within Corrections and to partner agencies, consults with the NZ Parole Board and the Courts, and contributes to a range of service development initiatives. We operate across both moderate and high intensity treatment environments, within a therapeutic community setting. The role offers ongoing clinical and professional variety, and opportunities to contribute to leadership and innovation in practice. The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role. In addition to your salary, you will receive a $2,000 annual professional development allowance and become eligible for five weeks of annual leave after one year of service, increasing to six weeks after four years of continuous service.
