Working as part of a wider team of Assistant Librarians and Content and Acquisitions Assistants, you will carry out a range of specialist administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of Arden’s Library Service, which will include: Identifying and locating Library resources for current programmes Maintenance of embedded Library resources and documentation Acquisitions of new resources Maintenance and updates to a range of Library systems About You:You will need proven experience of working with: Library management systems Discovery tools Online reading list systems Library procurement tools You will also have experience of: Working with academic referencing systems such as Harvard, APA, and OSCOLA. Finding and retrieving items such as eBooks, journals and articles. We are looking for colleagues who are highly motivated, with good levels of IT literacy, and experience of handling large amounts of data. You will need: Excellent attention to detail Good planning, organisational and time management skills The ability to work to deadlines within the scope of projects and workflows.
