This is a full-time, on-site position, running from Wednesday 7th May until the end of August.The role is primarily focused on facilities coordination, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. In addition, the successful candidate will provide light support to the laboratory team, including organising inventory, restocking supplies, and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised lab environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day coordination of facilities tasks across office and lab areasAct as the first point of contact for building issues and maintenance needsSupport health & safety procedures and ensure workspaces remain clean and hazard-freeAssist the lab team with: Maintaining stock levels and organising inventory, Tidying and cleaning shared lab areasReceiving and storing deliveriesHelp with small internal moves, setting up desks/equipment, and general site upkeepLiaise with service providers, cleaners, and maintenance teamIdeal Candidate• Previous experience in facilities coordination or similar roles• Organised, proactive, and able to multitask effectively• Comfortable working in or around lab areas (no scientific work required)• Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining cleanliness and safety• A team-oriented approach with a helpful attitude• Preferably candidates with a scientific background or an interest in science, offering an understanding of lab operations and the lab environmentIf you're interested in this role, we encourage you to apply or contact our office at 02920 220776 for more information.
