Job Description

My client is an established Legal company looking for a Senior IT Technician to join their in-house team in Guildford, supporting around 50 users. You'll handle everything from deploying devices and managing Microsoft 365 to troubleshooting day-to-day issues and liaising with suppliers - all with the backing of an IT Manager and a third-party support provider for escalations. There will be opportunity to work from home on specific days. SkillsFirst point of contact for IT support across the business (in person and remote) Deploy and configure new laptops and devices Administer and secure the Microsoft 365 environment (users, MFA, mail security) Provide remote desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues Monitor and maintain antivirus and endpoint protection systems Manage users and permissions in Azure AD and SharePoint Online Liaise with external suppliers for hardware/software licensing and escalated support Support ongoing IT improvement projects and system upgrades We are looking for someone who: Has at leastone year of experience in an IT support roleor at leasttwo years of experience in an office environmentwith arecognised IT qualification. Has good interpersonal skills-communicating effectively via phone, email, and face-to-face. Has strongMicrosoft Officeskills, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook and is eager to learn and develop their expertise in other applications and IT support.
