Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize food sorting surfaces before & after sorting Receive, weigh and record food donations Safely sort and store donated food items Restock food items by the best before day Refill and face pantry shelves as needed during your shift Put daily fresh & frozen items by their quota into the pantry Update pantry inventory board based on available food supply Restock grocery bags Break down large cardboard boxes and place in blue recycling bins Keep all areas clean and tidy, returning items used to their place Organize back storage shelves of food Ensure bins are full, properly labeled and rotated for freshness Clean bins as they are emptied Wash sorting trolleys and blue bins Grocery shop for client hampers Job Requirements: Friendly, flexible person willing to take initiative that likes to work in a busy environment Enjoy working with various age groups and abilities Successfully complete the Food Safe handling requirements Ability to understand and carry out simple verbal instructions Able to appropriately lift 25 lbs/12kgs Salary Type:Not specified#J-18808-Ljbffr
