Senior Quantity Surveyor - ExeterLocation: Exeter Job Type: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 & Enhanced packageSphere Solutions is working with a Tier 1 contractor, a leading construction contractor, to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for major long-term projects in Exeter.The Role:This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the commercial aspects of a large-scale scheme. You will work closely with construction and design teams, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Oversee project costs, budgets, and financial reporting. Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts. Ensure cost/value reconciliation and commercial returns. Liaise with clients and negotiate contract terms. Provide commercial risk management and dispute resolution.What We're Looking For: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior with a main contractor. Strong cost management and negotiation skills. Ability to produce accurate valuations and reports. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. RICS / CIOB qualification.
