Site Services Engineer (Food Manufacturing) Hayes, London 40,000This isnt a factory maintenance role where youll just be changing lightbulbs and wondering whats for lunch by 10:15am.This is the backbone-of-the-operation kind of role.You're the person keeping boilers, effluent systems, HVAC, and all the bits that people only notice when theystop workingrunning smoothly. Its not glamorous. But its essential. And weirdly satisfying if you're into that sort of thing (I hope you are).Youll be fault-finding, maintaining, and improving systems across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic kitall within a food manufacturing environment. So if you've worked with compressed air, steam, HVAC, cooling towers, or water systems, you're in the right neighbourhood.You'll need to be qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNDwe're not fussy about the format), and ideally, youll have experience working on site services in an FMCG or food environment.Knowledge of CMMS, Health & Safety regs, and the ability to think quickly when things go sideways? Very handy.Youll be part of a small, hands-on team, but also capable of flying solo when needed. Ohand youll be on call occasionally.
