Free staff parking A day in the life of... As hotel Reservations Manager at Staybridge Suites Birmingham, you'll be responsible for overseeing the reservations deapertment of the hotel. You will work to achieve the hotels commecial targets whilst leading a small team. You'll work to ensure that the hotel delivers it's revenue budgets whilst ensuring guests have a seamless experience when booking their accommodation and that all reservations are accurate and up to date. This role includes managing reservation systems, reviewing prices and revenue strategies on a daily basis, forecasting, data analysis, report writing, communicating with guests and other departments within the hotel, and ensuring that all reservations are properly documented. You'll be responsible for managing room inventory and rates, as well as overseeing the work of reservation agents and other team members. Staybridge Suites Birmingham is a 179 suite Aparthotel located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. We aim to be a 'home away from home' for our guests and welcome guests who can stay for several weeks, just the one night and everything inbetween. Strong leadership skills: Our Managers are strong leaders with the ability to motivate and manage our hotel team with extensive experience in creating and implementing strategies that drive success. Excellent communication skills: You'll have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and customers and be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Analytical and problem-solving skills: You'll need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions. You should be able to use data to make informed decisions and communicate messages to stakeholders. Attention to detail: You will have a keen eye for detail & be able to review reservations and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date. You'll be able to identify and resolve any issues that may arise and analyse complex data. Industry experience: You'll need to have extensive industry experience to understand the specific challenges and opportunities within the hotel and develop strategies to drive success. You should also have a deep understanding of the industry's regulations and compliance requirements.
