Panel Wirer 6-Month Contract Location: Cheshire Gross Rate: 22-24 per hour (Outside IR35 Ltd Co. / Umbrella / PAYE) Duration: 6-month initial contract Start Date: Immediate Requirement 37 hours p/w (Days) Mon-Fri (Early Finish Fridays) A well-established engineering business based in Cheshire is seeking experienced Panel Wirers for a long-term contract to support a major increase in orders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a key client. Role Overview: This hands-on role involves the electrical and electro-mechanical build of advanced control systems, racks, and panels. You will be working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to assemble and install high-specification components and cabling systems. Key Responsibilities: Rework and repair of PCBs Build and termination of cable assemblies including RF, power, and data cables Cabinet, rack, and box wiring Crimping and soldering using 22awg 10awg cable Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schedules Carry out mechanical rack and system assembly Inspect and test assemblies using appropriate equipment Work to tight tolerances and maintain quality throughout Essential Skills & Experience: Time Served / NVQ L3 Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and cable integration Ability to work from complex technical drawings and circuit schematics IPC 610/620 or J-STD qualifications (preferred) Previous experience in manufacturing Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Contract Details: Outside IR35 Ltd Co., Umbrella, or PAYE options 37-hour working week, flexi-time available across 4.5 days On-site only ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
