They strive to be the best innovator of high-performance glass and glazing solutions. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Technologist to join their Decarbonisation Technology Team and are offering a competitive salary from 30,000 - 40,000 depending on experience.Location: The Technologist position will be based at the company's site near Wigan, easily commutable by road from Merseyside including Liverpool, Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and Manchester. Please note a full UK driving licence and car ownership is required due to the company's location.Technologist (Melting Process) Role: Your main duties will be:Driving efficiency improvements within the melting process.Helping the company to meet their decarbonisation and sustainability goals, and improving profitability.Delivering R&D projects.Providing technical support to global sites - overseas travel required.Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Physics/Maths/a related Science.3 years' industrial experience in a Material-related field.Full UK Driving licence.Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
