Job Title: Structured Cabling Supervisor – Data CentresLocation: Waltham Cross, UKJob Type: PermanentSalary: Competitive + BenefitsAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Supervisor to oversee and manage structured cabling installations on high-profile Data Centre projects in Waltham Cross. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the installation of structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre Optics) in a Data Centre environment.Lead a team of cabling engineers and technicians, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance with health & safety and industry standards.Ensure all cable routing, termination, and testing is performed according to best practices.Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate workflows and resolve any technical issues.Conduct quality control checks, ensuring cabling installations meet client and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all structured cabling work.Ensure full compliance with Data Centre security and operational procedures.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Structured Cabling Supervisor in a Data Centre environment (mandatory).Strong understanding of cable installation, termination, and testing for Copper & Fibre networks.Experience with structured cabling infrastructure including containment systems, patching, and labelling.Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, and BS EN.Ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively.Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and cabling schematics.Relevant certifications (e.g. CNCI, BICSI, CSCS, ECS) are advantageous.Right to work in the UK is required.What’s on Offer?Competitive salary + benefitsPermanent role with career growth opportunitiesExciting Data Centre projects in a fast-paced environmentWork with cutting-edge structured cabling technologies
