The successful Pharmacy Technician will work within a team of Pharmacists and Technicians providing support to the wider hospital team and patients.The roleIn this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.This role comprises of but is not limited to: Be an expert in procurement of medicines and or medical devices (including any unlicensed medicines)To ensure the maintenance of a high standard of stock control and stock rotation for medicinesTo supervise the daily stock level/expiry checks as per audit requirement and be responsible for making the necessary adjustmentsManage medicines invoicing as per Ramsay Guidelines Be an integral part of staff development and training throughout the hospital, as well as supporting the team to make decisions and introduce innovative and streamlined processes.Support the pharmacy manager in medicines reconciliationSupport both the pharmacy and wider hospital teams with auditsBe able to provide ad hoc support to our sister hospital in Milton Keynes.
