7.5 ton Driver - Medical Delivery & Collection Job Title: 7.5t Driver Location : Tiverton Area Hourly Rate : 14 Shifts : Monday - Friday. Start: Immediate Join Our Dynamic Team as a 7.5t Driver! We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity with an immediate start, for experienced C1 drivers to join our client's team on an ad hoc basis. This role involves long-distance driving between hospital sites across Devon, Cornwall, and potentially further afield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of medical equipment from our clients private hospitals. Key Responsibilities: Transportation of Medical Equipment: Safely transport medical equipment between laboratories and hospitals, ensuring all items are handled with care. Long-Distance Driving: Travel extensively across Devon and Cornwall, with occasional routes further afield, requiring adaptability and a strong sense of navigation. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with a proactive attitude, ensuring seamless interactions with hospital staff and other stakeholders. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Requirements: Licence and Certifications: Hold a valid C1 driving licence with no more than 6 points. Tacho & CPC Card: Possess an in-date tachograph card and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Skills and Qualities: High level of attention to detail.
