To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for aTechnical Support and Training Managerto come and join our team at ourHead Office, Ibstock, LE67 6HS. Job Purpose: To support Ibstock customers, technical and sales teams on technical/installation matters and training on Futures Products and Systems. Key Accountabilities: Provide first line technical support to Ibstock Futures installers and partners via phone, email or face to face on site. Own the customer complaints process for Futures. Triage technical issues and complaints and determine next course of action. Where appropriate, pass on or involve other Ibstock colleagues. Maintain a log of complaints and ensure prompt action and feedback to the customer or Ibstock colleague. Devise or use/adapt existing Ibstock methods for recording and progressing complaints with regular reviews with the appropriate Ibstock colleagues. Ensure information and statistics on complaints are reported to the wider business Devise training programs for installation of Ibstock products. Define and utilise a variety of methods for efficient delivery - E.g. face to face (at Power Park of Toolbox talk), video, written instruction, presentations, etc. Assume responsibility for the construction of training areas and sample walls within Power Park or other suitable Ibstock facilities. Acquire, maintain and securely store a fleet of suitable tools and materials to enable installation and maintenance of test areas and delivery of training courses. Devise and assume responsibility for participant testing as well as the recording and archiving of training sessions to customers. Assist in the construction and execution of test rigs and tests of Ibstock products and systems. Contribute to the content of Ibstock Product Guide and other Futures documentation. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Essential Minimum 10 years' experience in the design and installation of fa?ade systems on site. Knowledge of basic brickwork principles and site operations. Min 2 years' experience in a fa?ade system manufacturer or supplier in a similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Word Able to develop and maintain productive relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels. Open and effective communicator Desirable Experience in the design and installation of mechanical brick slip systems and stone. Experience in dealing with demanding customers and reaching successful, mutually acceptable outcomes. Track record of devising, delivering and recording product training programs in a construction product organisation. Thorough knowledge of BS771 and PAS 70. Think you can make a difference?
