Nuclear Medicine Consultant Radiologist - North WestOur client is an NHS Foundation Trust seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Consultant Radiologist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.Salary: 105,504 - 139,882 per annumTypical Job Plan and DutiesAs a Nuclear Medicine Consultant Radiologist, you will:Consult with patients to explain the processes, risks, and benefits of nuclear medicine procedures.Administer radioactive substances to patients to generate images of the body and diagnose diseases.Interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT scans.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.Conduct research to develop new methods of using radioactive substances in diagnosing and treating diseases.Participate in teaching and training junior doctors and other healthcare professionalsQualifications and RequirementsMBBS or equivalent.Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent.Full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within 6 months of interview.About the HospitalThe Trust is committed to delivering the highest standards of care and is recognized for its excellence in clinical services, research, and education.
