What Youll Be Doing:Take the lead in managing the Project Health & Safety File, engaging with key stakeholders to gather, organise, and maintain essential safety documentation.Support the creation and coordination of the Construction Phase Plan, ensuring all pre-construction details are accurately reflected.Organise and chair Principal Designer coordination meetings and workshops, driving communication and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.Build and manage communication channels to deliver PD-related information to all relevant parties.Act as the link between CDM duty holders, the client, and contractors, ensuring regulatory risks are managed effectively and proactively.Review and validate risk assessments, method statements, and associated safety documentation.Ensure that all project stakeholders and supply chain partners meet CDM competency standards and maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle. What Youll Need:A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and/or relevant H&S or Engineering qualifications.Demonstrable experience in CDM and Principal Designer roles, ideally within regulated environments such as Nuclear or Defence.Strong familiarity with construction site operations and the application of health and safety regulations at both design and implementation stages.Qualifications or training in HSE auditing, backed by hands-on experience.Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams.A degree in Engineering or similar is preferred, but not essential for the right experience.
