Job Title: Director of Clinical OperationsLocation: UKCompany: Fast-growing UK-based biotech companyIndustry: Biotechnology / OncologyEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are now seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to play a key leadership role in the execution of our clinical strategy and drive the success of our oncology programs from early-phase through pivotal trials.About the Role:As the Director of Clinical Operations, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our clinical trials, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Development, you will lead cross-functional teams and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring transformative cancer therapies to patients.Key Responsibilities:Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of global oncology clinical trials (Phase IIII), ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget complianceManage and mentor a growing Clinical Operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountabilityOversee selection and management of CROs, vendors, and clinical sitesDevelop and maintain clinical trial budgets, timelines, and resource plansCollaborate closely with Regulatory, Medical, Biometrics, and CMC teams to ensure cross-functional alignmentEnsure adherence to GCP, ICH guidelines, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory requirementsDrive operational excellence through continuous process improvement and innovationParticipate in clinical development strategy and contribute to regulatory submissionsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred)10+ years of experience in clinical operations within biotech/pharma, including at least 5 years in oncologyProven track record of leading global clinical trials from start-up through completionStrong leadership and team management skills with experience building high-performing teamsDeep understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and international regulatory requirementsExperience working in a fast-paced, innovative biotech environmentExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsWhy Join Us?Be part of a mission-driven company with a bold vision to change the future of cancer careWork alongside passionate, experienced leaders and scientistsOpportunity to make a real impact from early development through to commercializationCompetitive compensation package including equity, bonus, and benefits
