Project Manager Melksham (Hybrid, with UK-wide travel)40,000 50,000 + Car AllowanceThis is your opportunity to take ownership of exciting, complex projects either managing a large multi-site programme or several key client sites and help shape the technical environments of tomorrow.About the RoleAs Project Manager, youll report directly to the business line Director and take charge from purchase order to project completion. Youll be both the planner and the problem-solver managing teams/sub-contractors, coordinating resources, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering excellence on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.Youll be the linchpin between clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless delivery and top-tier quality. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a genuine impact on every job.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver projects from PO stage through to handoverPrepare project scope, documentation, risk plans, and health & safety filesPlan, schedule, and manage resources using tools like MS ProjectLead pre-start meetings and project progress reviewsAct as primary site contact for clients, contractors, and suppliersTrack budgets, manage procurement, and control variationsSupervise and ensure on-site quality and safety standardsProvide cover on-site and handle handover documentationWhat Were Looking ForProven leadership in project or programme managementStrong experience in M&E, datacentre, telecoms, or interiors contractingConfident communicator with excellent planning skillsHealth & Safety knowledge (SMSTS/First Aid required)Commercial mindset and problem-solving attitudeIT literate (MS Word, Excel, and ideally MS Project)Willingness to travel and stay away when neededBonus Points For:HNC or above in Mechanical/Electrical disciplineIOSH, NEBOSH, 18th Edition or Test & Inspection qualificationsExperience in specification/design/estimating M&E systemsWhat you can expect:Due to the nature of work for some of the clients, there will be a requirement to undertake security clearances.
