About The Role: As a Cleaner your role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas such as classrooms, corridors, offices and communal spaces. Cleaners are responsible for tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing bins and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students, visitors and staff. You may also be tasked with restocking supplies and cleaning products. Additionally, cleaners play a crucial role in helping to prevent the spread of infections and illnesses by following proper cleaning processes and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Hours are for 11:00 - 14:00 with flexibility according to business needs, such as Staff and Open events.Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas Hoovering, dusting and mopping floors to remove dirt and debris Changing bins and disposing of waste efficiently Sanitation of surfaces to prevent the spread of infections Restocking of supplies like toilet paper, soap and cleaning products as required Following proper cleaning procedures to ensure effective cleaning and safety Adhering to health and safety guidelines including utilising appropriate PPE Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Has the ability to notice and address small details to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of facilities Reliability Professionalism A good standard of Maths and English Proactive in identifying cleaning needs and taking appropriate actions without contact supervision Punctual and consistent Diversity and Inclusion: Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
