Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer Rate : 50-60 per hour PAYE Location : Remote/Hybrid (depending on client needs) Contract Type : Consultant Hours : Flexible We are seeking a highly skilled non-contentious construction solicitor or barrister to support complex infrastructure projects. You must hold a current practising certificate and have significant experience in drafting and advising on NEC and JCT contracts . Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal and procurement advice on high-value infrastructure projects. Draft, review, and negotiate standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC) and associated documents. Advise on matters involving the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Framework Agreements . Work closely with public sector clients to navigate complex procurement issues. Deliver commercially sound legal solutions under tight deadlines. Work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Requirements UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with a valid practising certificate. Proven track record in non-contentious construction law. Strong understanding of public procurement, ideally including experience working with or advising local authorities or other public bodies . Exceptional drafting and communication skills.
