RMR Staffing are looking to recruit a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor for a dynamic secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students and contributing to the learning environment. The role involves supervising students during lessons in the absence of their usual class teacher, ensuring that classes run smoothly and that students stay engaged with their work. Key Responsibilities: Supervise secondary school students in the absence of their regular teacher. Ensure students follow lesson plans, stay on task, and complete their work. Manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a positive and productive environment. Assist students with any queries regarding the tasks set, offering guidance where necessary. Report any issues or concerns to relevant teaching staff and the schools leadership team. Maintain the schools high standards for safeguarding, health, and safety. About You: To be successful in this role, youll need: A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively. The ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with their learning. The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure. Previous experience working in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential.
