This role does not offer sponsorship.As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our close-knit team at Syon Early Years,part of Options Autism.Job dutiesUnder the reasonable direction of the Senior Leadership Team, carry out the duties of a Midday Lunch Supervisor as set out in the current school policies. Uphold the professional code of conduct.Support the school in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of staff as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below.Main TasksTo take responsibility for the standard of cleanliness and hygiene of premises and equipmentTo positively encourage good behaviour and table manners and hygiene.To assist with the washing of cooking utensils, crockery and cutleryTo be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils whilst in the dining room.To follow the schools absence policy in the case of absence due to illness.To ensure that the catering service runs efficiently.EssentialGood standard of personal hygieneAbility to work as part of a teamFlexible approach to workingAbility to build relationships with children & young peopleResilienceAbility to work on own initiativeWilling to undertake trainingAbility to prioritise tasksDesirablePre-existing understanding of autism and autistic behavioursExperience in a school environmentAwareness of Health and SafetyAbout usSyon Early Years is an early years setting in Isleworth, London built using our expertise in special education needs.
