We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team at Kings Norton Hospital in Birmingham. This fixed-term role (starting in August 2025) is ideal for both newly qualified and experienced therapists who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Kings Norton Hospital is a newly built facility, dedicated to delivering high-quality intensive treatment in a safe, caring, and secure setting. We support adults of all genders with severe and complex mental health conditions, providing specialist care across our three acute wards. These wards cater to individuals stepping down from Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs) or those managing prolonged, complex mental health challenges. As part of our multidisciplinary team, youll collaborate with experienced professionals, including a Medical Director, Specialty Doctors, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring holistic and person-centred care. What you'll have: HCPC registration Extensive experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting Ability to lead, supervise, and mentor team members Experience in developing clinical pathways, driving service improvements, and implementing innovative rehabilitation approaches Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
