This is a high-impact role for a data professional with deep Teradata expertise and a passion for cloud migration. ?? Key Responsibilities Lead the hands-on migration of enterprise data solutions from Teradata to GCP Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT Optimize and maintain Teradata queries, data models, and warehouse processes during transformation Collaborate with data architects, GCP engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth transition Apply best practices in data modeling, workload management, and performance tuning Support transformation testing and data validation efforts Document architecture, ETL logic, and data flow processes Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies during migration Participate in performance reviews and recommend improvements across the data landscape Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team ?? Key Skills & Experience Extensive hands-on experience with Teradata and other enterprise data warehouses Strong knowledge of Teradata architecture, star/snowflake schemas, and SQL optimization Expertise in Teradata utilities: BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT Solid understanding of Teradata Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM Proven experience with Teradata-to-GCP data warehouse migration Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling Experience with Teradata performance tuning, partitioning strategies, and workload management (TASM) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability ??
