Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mobile concrete boom pump operative to join our team Must have previous experience of concrete pumping or the concrete industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of concrete pumping operations and demonstrate excellent mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of concrete to various construction sites throughout our region. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pumping equipment while adhering to all safety protocols. Responsibilities: Operate concrete pumps to transport and pour concrete at construction sites. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate the delivery of concrete. Monitor the flow of concrete during pumping operations, adjusting as necessary to ensure efficiency. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Strong knowledge of concrete pumps and implementing maintenance regime. Daily and weekly inspections on plant and pipeline. Knowledge of static pipeline set up and components Pay rate is negotiable dependent on experience. HGV class 2 licence entitlement is essential. ideal candidate must have NPORS/CPCS and/or relevant industry experience, training can be provided to gain the relevant qualifications for the right individuals but a clear understanding of concrete boom pumps & ideally mixers is preferred. Pay will reflect industry experience. Cleanliness and preventative maintenance a must. The successful candidates will be issued with modern up to date equipment maintained to a high standard Good communication and team working is key to the role, You must be able to liaise with clients on a variety of sites along with communicating with management, Health 'safety is paramount. You must have good communication skills and a can do attitude and be able to work closely with others. You must be able and willing to work in all weathers. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday weekly and will average approximately 10 hours per day. Pay is weekly on a hourly basis. You will be expected to work on a one on one off basis for Saturday working, general hours on Saturdays are 6.30am while 12am but this can vary slightly.
