The Organisation has a renowned brand name in the industry and supply their innovative Solar PV solutions internationally to the residential, commercial, and utilities/ EPC markets.Despite the challenges in the market we see today, they still see growth potential this year and next year too. They are also expanding into a number of new international markets, helped by the cash rich, debt free position they are in.Now experiencing exponential growth across Europe and looking to bolster the commercial operation in the UK our Client is seeking a Sales Director. This appointment will be vital addition to the team to strengthen their market presence more aggressively and is primarily focussed on the new range of products being sold to installers and wholesalers across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Manage existing key accounts - wholesalers - and installer sales in the UKExecute expansion sales strategy in regionLeading, motivating and expanding the sales team, currently around 25 peopleUndertake business development tasks for the regionBe a brand advocate, ensuring exceptional knowledge of the full product portfolioAttend all initial commercial and product queriesManage sales pipeline and achieve or surpass sales goals setActively acquire new customers specifically with solar and electrical installersMaintain relationships with installers and distributors across the UKOrganise and conduct sales and product training to partners and clientsConsolidate brand presence in regionAssist in the growth of the headcountParticipate in trade fairs, exhibitions and external marketingKey Requirements:Possess a passion for energy, renewables, engineering and the clean energy marketProven sales experience selling high-tech innovative products within a market regionTrack record of increasing market share in a challenging marketDirect experience with solar pv, solar systems, or energy storage technologies advantageousPossess an understanding of the local Solar and ESS market preferableExceptional business relationship management skills and acumenExcellent negotiation skillsA strong and clear communicatorCustomer-orientated, focused on delivering client satisfactionPassion for selling great and cutting-edge productsEnthusiasm for learning and affinity for solar, energy storage and renewables sector.Ability to work within demanding and rapid growth setting.Independent worker but also a team playerHome based in the UK and willing to travel frequentlyOn offer is not only the opportunity to join a market leading Solar company, but the chance to develop your career in one of the most attractive industries in the world.To apply for the position please send your CV to: tom.monaco@energy-recruitment.com.
