Remote with visits to our Bristol office once per week. Business travel to meet customers as needed.Were hiring our first ever Go-to-Market Lead, to help us unlock our next level of growth. Leading our Sales, Account Management & Customer Success teams, your first priority is to get hands-on and galvanise the team with a clear GTM strategy for Land App, our SaaS subscription product. Youll scale our real-world impact by increasing subscriptions, reducing churn and growing our customer base - first in the UK and next across the globe.Youll be responsible forRevenue growth: Drive recurring revenue by optimising our subscription model and sales processes, leveraging our existing engaged audience of over 30,000 contacts as a warm pipeline for growth.Team leadership: Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture amongst the team, so theyre supported, motivated, developing and delivering against commercial targets.Sales strategy and execution: Lead high-value sales efforts, working closely with Marketing & Product to improve lead quality and conversion rates.Market expansion: Drive user adoption across sectors in the UK, analysing the market and creating a use case for future global expansion.HubSpot management: Own and refine our HubSpot sales architecture, reporting, and pipeline prioritisation in partnership with Marketing.Data-driven decision making: Analyse trends and sales metrics to make informed decisions on company and team performance.Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Product to align messaging, create impactful sales materials, and enhance customer engagement.Client relationships: Host in-person meetings with key clients and strategic partners, strengthening relationships and driving conversion.Performance tracking: Define success metrics, track KPIs (e.g., New Net Subs, Churn %, ARPU), and continuously optimise based on data-driven insights.About youWe want to hear from you if you:Have GTM experience in a SaaS/B2B organisation: youve led on a Go-To-Market strategy in a business with 1-3m ARR.Lead high performing teams: youve led a sales team within a Tech, SaaS, or climate business, driving both incremental sales and team engagement.Have worked in a scaling start-up: youre familiar with the growing pains of a scaling Tech start-up and are ready to iterate on sales processes to drive the next growth phase.Can flex from strategic thinking to hands-on operations: you can balance big-picture strategy with tactical execution. Youre happy to roll up your sleeves and proactively support the team if it moves the needle on our GTM strategy.Understand subscription-based revenue models: you can strategise on customer retention and GTM initiatives based on previous subscription/SaaS sales experience.Have Hubspot experience: you know your way around Hubspot and can optimise it for sales funnel management, SQLs, MQLs, and reporting.Are a natural relationship builder: you establish credibility with clients, partners, and internal teams effortlessly.Have a data-driven mindset: you use metrics to drive decisions and continuously improve sales performance.Are proactive and accountable: you take initiative, own your decisions, and move the needle on results.Bonus points if you:Have a land sector background: you have experience in rural, farming or environmental sectors that helps you build trust and credibility with our customers.Have a track record of developing teams: youve line managed teams to successful outcomes, your direct reports have grown via your coaching, goal setting and mentoring.Are tech savvy: you understand tech stacks, APIs and AI-driven sales efficiency tools.Its probably not the right fit if:You prefer a highly structured corporate environment: were a scaling startup, and agility is key.You arent comfortable rolling up your sleeves: this role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.You want to focus purely on new business development: this role is just as much about retention and driving long-term value as it is about new sales.Important note: This role is open for those eligible to live and work in the UK.
