Title: Senior Account Manager (Wholesale and Convenience) Location: Holland Park, LondonReporting: Head of Sales Job Type: Full-TimeIndustry: FMCG/Manufacturing Our Company:Blanco Nio is a rapidly growing, award winning, premium Mexican food brand known for exceptional quality, traditional cooking methods and it's advocation and trailblazing of regenerative farming practices.The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 19 European markets and the Middle East, and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering 5 European markets. The major focus markets being UK and Ireland for the retail offering, with significant opportunity across the European continent for business expansion utilising the existing distribution network. There is also a small D2C revenue stream from the company website. Blanco Nio's mission statement is "To produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to generative farming in the process". The business is in a high growth phase with sales almost doubling year on year. Blanco Nio launched into retail in 2023 and this is a very exciting time to join the business due to being in high growth with multiple opportunities to unlock. Position Summary:This role will be instrumental in shaping the next stage of growth for Blanco Nio, increasing our physical availability across the UK and helping Blanco Nio become a household brand. You will have a hunter approach with a growth mindset to grow existing business and secure new opportunities within Wholesale, High Street, Independence, Convenience, Airlines and Food To Go. Utilising existing formats within Tortilla Chips, new formats and NPD across multiple categories in Ambient and Chilled. The role will require you to travel around the UK so that you can build strong relationships, with a base at our head office in London. The current team is made up of a Head of Sales and we are hiring a Grocery NAM and a Head of Food Service. You will be reporting into the Head of Sales and collectively as a team you are responsible for driving the highly ambitious growth. Key Responsibilities: Account Management, Strategic Planning and Execution: Oversee P&L performance for wholesale and convenience accounts, delivering financially optimised results. Managing and nurturing existing national accounts within the wholesale and convenience sector. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive substantial sales growth across multiple channels and points of contact.Building and fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers at major wholesalers and convenience retailers.Creating and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and elevate brand visibility. Forecasting and Reporting: Owning your sales forecast, trade spend and creating a plan to exceed the agreed annual plan (volume, revenue, GP, GM%). Analysing sales data and market trends to pinpoint opportunities and enhance performance. Provide actionable recommendations with a clear understanding of financial impacts. Achieving and surpassing agreed sales targets and KPIs. Fields Sales and Merchandising: Setting up and owning a strong field sales and merchandising plan to ensure our products are always positioned on shelf in the best way possible. Engaging store managers through building relationships and creating initiatives. Cross Functional Collaboration:Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure timely execution of strategies including NPD.Work with our Operations team to ensure exceptional service levels and streamlined operations tailored to the wholesale and convenience sector.
