we believe in fairly rewarding our staff for their hard work, loyalty and success.JOB PURPOSE:The Symatrix Managed Services Team(s) offer a range of services to our Customers:Application Support, covering the entire suite of Oracle HRMS products, including HR, Self Service, Learning Management, Recruitment and Payroll on both E-Business Suite and HCM CloudHosting and DBA ServicesBusiness Process Outsourcing for HR Administration and Payroll SolutionsTesting-as-a-ServiceYou will:Be the SME and primary contact for a large Payroll Customer; being the face of the Symatrix Payroll serviceEnsure provision of the Customer Payroll service, to the highest quality and Customer-focussed levelEnsure compliance with Payroll and HR legislation, GDPR and IS Policies and ProceduresProvide a positive, personal, responsive and efficient service to all CustomersProviding the fastest route to Customer resolutionSet clear expectations and follow-up on what we sayRecognise and respect differing levels of technical knowledge and adjust communication style accordinglyMaintain Customer satisfaction (which will be monitored through Customer satisfaction surveys)Ensure continual improvement of service through knowledge and System DevelopmentYOUR MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Day to day Management of a Payroll Team ensuring the smooth running of the Payroll and quality of service to our Customer and to ensure SLA adherenceTo plan the workload and planner of the Customer for each months Payroll and ad-hoc cyclesTo work in line with all Payroll processes as per the documented manualsResolve and provide advice and guidance on Payroll queries from customers, employees, HMRC and other 3rd partiesBuild solid relationships with Customer, ensure that their expectations are met, and ensure delivery of a service conducive with long term customer relationshipBe the point of escalation for Customer queries and issuesEnsure confidentiality of Customer data is always maintainedCustomer advisor on Payroll legislation Assess and manage key aspects of change control on Customer account, including changes to process and operating procedures Ensuring update and maintenance of BPO Payroll-specific documentation (Customer Operating manual etc)Provide scheduled Payroll reports Support the BPO Manager in providing regular service delivery reports and attending Customer service review meetingsPerform regular catch ups and annual PDRs, including setting up and monitoring the Teams objectivesSupporting the BPO Manager with Team planning and monitoring annual leave.Work with cross-departmental Teams to deliver change and exceptional Customer service across the portfolio of outsourced servicesUAT of any System changes, Management of Testing of major releases, where no additional Testing contract in placeTo work in line with the Symatrix ISMSTo undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of the companyTo support new Customers when required, the on-boarding of new Customers and UAT of new Customer solutionsSupport continuous improvement of working practices through technology and processesTo undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of the CompanyPERSON SPECIFICATION - KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / QUALITIES:Essential:AT-LEAST SOME LEVEL of of CIPP qualificationSolid experience of RUNNING ORACLE CLOUD PAYROLL & all associated admin'Experience of RUNNING a LARGE PAYROLLExcellent Communication / Presentation & Client-facing skillsHANDS-ON, LINE-MANAGEMENT experience of a PAYROLL TEAMYOU MUST BE UK BASED to be able to carry-out the workCommitment to delivering the highest standards of Customer careAbility to work in a fast moving, dynamic environmentAbility to communicate and influence at all levels of the businessExperience of process improvementExperience of a HR Shared service centre or helpdesk environmentExperience of product TestingExperience of working in cross-departmental TeamsExperience of working for an outsource providerGood telephone mannerGood problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Data Protection and Information Security regulationsDesirable:Experience of Systems SupportExperience of Reporting ToolsDetailed knowledge of UK HR legislationExperience of working in a Team when a new HR & Payroll solution has been implementedExperience of working in a fully managed Payroll environmentExperience of HR & Payroll process and service design and improvementExperience of service delivery within a multi-Customer environmentBENEFITS PACKAGE:Competitive Salary & full Salary Package:Pension (a leading provider), 25 days holiday, option to buy an additional 5 holiday days, birthday as additional holiday after two years service, eye tests, private Health Care (the leading provider), cycle-to-Work scheme, childcare vouchers, excellent Training and Learning opportunities..What to do next (how to apply):If you are ALREADY an experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Team-Lead OR a fully hands-on Oracle Cloud Payroll Manager (RUNNING A LARGE ORACLE PAYROLL NOW) and you are searching for a new opportunity, then you have come to the right place and at definitely the right time;
