DiscoverySenior Programme CoordinatorASAP StartMat Cover - Initially until Mid January 2026Location Hybrid, LondonRate: 138.63pd via PAYE // 182.89pd via UmbrellaYour New RoleReporting into Programming and Presentation Director , this role is responsible for leading on the day to day on programming workflows of the MENA kids channels and managing the Programming Coordinator of the team in day to day work flows and systems support.A great opportunity for a team player with enthusiasm and passion for kids content to join the MENA kids programming team and work across the Cartoon Network Arabic (FTA), Cartoon Network (PAY) and MENA Kids Fast Channel.A critical role for the smoothrunning of the MENA kids channels, SVOD and catch up services, daily schedules ensuring the efficient flow of content to linear channels and multiplatform VOD/digital services. A key player in communicating and liaising with external affiliate platforms regarding VOD scheduling, curation and promotion Responsible for scheduling content, coordination of information, administration and liaison between programming, digital, operational, creative and marketing/PR teams.Your Role AccountabilitiesDeputy to the Programming & Presentation Director to oversee the smooth running of the day-to day department responsibilities.Programming Lead across the MENA Kids channels and VOD platforms and work with entire other teams to identify future scheduling needs and strategies.Overseeing and working across 3 MENA linear feeds, SVOD and catch up schedules.Manage 1 direct report Programming Coordinator. Support, train and mentor the coordinator in day to day workfows.Create monthly programming schedules and highlights for all the channels in region. Program plan the schedules on WON and oversee the ones which has been entered by the Programming CoordinatorManage the SVOD and Catch Up strategy for the region and lead the workflow by working closely with The Operations team to be delivered on a timely manner.Brief and lead creative for network and affiliate stunts to ensure aligned with programming strategyLead the workflow for dubbing orders and manage all the dubbing orders for the content. Liase and track and be the key person of the Dubbing orders, delivery of the content and work closely with compliance team to ensure all programming passes compliance and is ingested with transmission deadlines.Lead the channel inventory and be the key person for updating the new content within the inventory.Senior team member presenting the MENA kids programming strategy to internal and external partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with our affiliate partners through every communication.Reviewing and Feeding into acquisitions of new content, reviewing suitable titles.Keeping up to date by viewing new content on own and competitor channelsSuper user on Whats On Scheduling system and main point of contact in the team to deal with issues, working with support team to resolve these on program planning side.Manage and onboard new members of staff ensuring system training is achieved on program planning side.Qualifications & ExperienceA passion and knowledge of kids programming.A professional understanding of the TV programming/production process and VOD services.Computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, outlook)Experience using a broadcast scheduling systemIf you would like to be considered, please apply with a copy of your most updated resume.
