The role will involve working in Reception for half of the day and in Year 1 for the remaining half. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference to their educational experience.Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional needs Assist with personal care needs as required, ensuring the child's comfort and safety. No planning. Student loves music and stories, head bangs and has a level of a 2.5-year-old, so we are looking for an experienced TA with personal care who is nurturing. Support the child with both academic tasks and social interactions, helping to build their confidence and independence. Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to ensure consistent support and progress. Foster a nurturing and caring environment, promoting emotional well-being.Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in a primary school setting. A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children. Ability to provide personal care support where necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A relevant qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), is desirable but not essential.
