The RoleWe're recruiting a full-time Compliance Manager for a long-established, family-run insurance brokerage based in Finchley, North London. Working closely with the Operations Director, you'll lead compliance across the businessembedding policies, ensuring best practice, and championing Consumer Duty at every level.This is not a back-office policy-writing jobits a visible, hands-on role shaping how compliance supports and protects every client interaction. Location: Finchley, London N3 with occasional travel to their Hull office Hours: Full-Time Sector: Applicants must have experience working within an insurance brokerage or direct insurer. What Youll Be Doing:Leading audits, reviews, and monitoring frameworks across the businessKeeping the firm aligned with FCA, FOS, and ICO requirementsPreparing and delivering detailed Consumer Duty Board reportsSupporting regulatory submissions and insurer auditsMaintaining policy registers, TOBAs, and supplier compliance processesWorking as a trusted adviser to the senior management team Youll Need:Current or recent compliance experience within an insurance brokerage or direct insurerDeep understanding of FCA compliance frameworksConfidence with SMCR, Consumer Duty, GDPR, and fair value principlesExcellent attention to detail and a calm, communicative approachThe ability to work independently and influence at a senior level Please note: Candidates without prior experience in insurance (either a brokerage or direct insurer) will not be considered.
