HSEQ / CDM Manager Edinburgh (rotational) 2 Year FTCEden Scott are pleased to be assisting their client with the appointment of an HSEQ CDM Manager to join them for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. Our client is playing a pivotal role in the Marshalling of the Foundation package for a 1GW Offshore Wind Farm in Scotland.The position is well suited to someone with a solid understanding of CDM regulations gained within an Industrial setting.Position OverviewThe HSEQ/CDM Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of the HSE management system and practices to meet project requirements. As the project CDM and HSEQ lead, you will be operationally responsible ensuring the organisation is fulfilling legal obligations under the CDM 2015 regulations with regards to the planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordination of health and safety.Key Responsibilities Oversee CDM and HSEQ management for duration of the project, and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, best practices and client procedures. Lead the development and review of CDM/HSEQ documentation (e.g. Project Quality Plan, Construction Phase Plan, bridging documents etc.) Assist in setting and monitoring HSEQ policies and objectives. Prepare internal or review contractor's formal reports, i.e. accident investigation, high potential/near hits, internal audit reports and daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly and yearly HSE reports. Lead incident investigation where required. Monitoring of project incident reporting and monitor/assist in close out of actions assigned. Ensure non-conformances are managed effectively. Assist in site and client component inspections. Adopt the organisations safety culture to support and actively encourage a positive culture throughout the site and project. Any other tasks as required to fulfil role.Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in offshore wind project in principal contractor role. Previous experience in operational HSEQ Advisor role. NEBOSH / IOSH qualification or educated to degree level (Engineering discipline) Full GWOs (5-Modules) and chester step.Additional Information This role may involve occasional travel to other project sites or stakeholder locations, so adriving licence is essential.
