7.5 TONNE DRIVERWORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 (ROTA PROVIDED) 12.50 - 25.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Kidderminster area.BenefitsAs a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly RatesOngoing WorkWeekly PayOnsite CanteenTraining ProvidedImmediate StartsEmployee Well-being Programme Rates of Pay Basic: 12.50Overtime after 8 hours: 18.75Saturday: 18.75Sunday: 25.00Bank Holiday: 25.00 Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens)Operate and drive various 7.5 tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential SkillsAs a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to: Be able to work as part of a teamHave a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C1 vehiclesHave no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesBe able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence and a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardBe able to speak and read a good level of EnglishHave excellent punctuality and time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsHave effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Six-hour online training must be completed before attending assessmentDriver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be an on-job trainingIndustry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out moreJBRP1_UKTJ
