I am currently recruiting for a Senior Bid Manager who has strong local authority bidding experience. You will be joining an established business who are well known within their specialist sectors. This is a full time, permanent role based in their Northampton office. They are offering a salary of 55,000 - 65,000 depending on experience plus car / car allowance, bonus and wider benefits package. This role would suit a bid professional who is confident managing the entire bid process, as well as creating new content. You will also have team management experience. My client is looking for an ambitious individual who has a genuine desire to win, as well as learn. Duties and responsibilities Lead bidding activities, managing bidding teams and taking responsibility for the delivery of the bidTake responsibility for the development and preparation of Project Delivery Plans, Tender responses and Contract DocumentationTake responsibility for the quality of the tender submissions and ensure continuous improvement in their presentationDeliver and monitor procurement/tender performance against the Development Strategy including project timelines and budgetsManage the full tender process, from initial opportunity assessment through to handoverResponsible for the interpretation of Local Authority procurement documentation, development, negotiation and submission of project plans, tender proposals and contract documentationCoordinate the development, negotiation, agreement and implementation of new service contracts and extensions of contract.
