We are a privately owned, wholesale bakery manufacturer proudly supplying the UK and European Foodservice and Retail markets. A one-stop bakery supply partner, offering an extensive range of quality, handcrafted products. As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a motivated, hands-on National Account Manager who can work autonomously managing existing business and developing new opportunities within the Foodservice sector - specifically wholesale, contract caterers, education, healthcare and travel & leisure.This is a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Manager to join an entrepreneurial, fast-growing business where your input truly matters. Working within a lean structure, youll be more than just an account manageryoull be a total business manager. From owning your own reporting and planning to implementing and improving processes, youll be hands-on and actively involved in shaping both the commercial strategy and the wider business. If you're looking to step away from a rigid corporate setup and take real ownership in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, this is the role for you.This role is Home/Field Based with national travel and target to be at our Head Office in Exhall, Coventry one day per week.Reporting to the Head of Foodservice, you will be responsible for:Managing and developing regional and national accounts across the Foodservice IndustryWorking with the Head of Foodservice and leadership team to develop and execute the plan and brand strategy with existing and new foodservice accountsIncrease distribution and visibility of the branded portfolio within account baseDevelop new business within the account base via new listings in addition to execution of new account opportunitiesResponsible for the delivery of internal targets with focus on profitable growth for allocated accountsPromotional plan implementation in line with strategy and customer plan Understand commercial impact Pricing, Promotions, Investment, Trading TermsNegotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBPs and cost increase where relevant Develop, implement and execute clear JBPs with the customer base ensuring focus on key measures for customer base and internal targetsCollaborate with internal teams with focus on account objectivesProvide clear internal and external analysis of reports with focus on performance Focus on forecasting, internal communication and understanding supply demands in line with the business growthSound interesting?We're looking for the following:A working knowledge of the Foodservice industry Strong commercial skillsAttention to detailGood presentation skills and time managementProven track record for retaining and growing current business Identifying, converting and growing new prospect business, not only individual clients but new sectors Experience with ambient and frozen food products (bakery experience preferred but not mandatory).A passion for our product categories, identifying first to market innovation and bringing opportunities back into the business for evaluation Self-motivated with Can do and Positive attitudeTeam player (sales team and wider business team) Ability to work flexible with UK wide TravelPlease note, this role is being managed internally by Handmade Speciality ProductsWe kindly ask that all applicants apply directly via LinkedIn, as we are not seeking recruitment agency support at this time.
