Located in the heart of Edinburgh the team consists of experienced professionals who are committed to helping individuals achieve their financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Review investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc.Review existing investments and pension and establish if they are still suitableCarry out due diligence on any products recommended for clients in line with MiFID 2 requirementsPrepare information/comparisons for analysis by AdviserLiaise with clients legal and tax advisers (if applicable)Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client risk profileAssist in the preparation and maintenance of client files, ensuring all compliance paperwork is complete and accurate.Organise and manage client documentation to facilitate smooth and efficient workflows.Conduct comprehensive research to identify suitable financial solutions for clients.Collaborate with senior team members to analyse options, evaluate products, and make informed recommendations.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance the quality of our services.Support in the preparation of recommendation reports under the guidance of senior team members.Ensure reports are accurate, thorough, and compliant with regulatory standards.Assist in communicating recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.Work closely with our experienced advisors to understand client objectives and gather necessary information.Participate in client meetings to contribute insights, answer questions, and provide support as needed.Seize the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals and expand your knowledge of financial planning and analysis.Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and capabilities.Person SpecificationUnderstanding of the Financial Planning processAble to work within defined business processesAbility to achieve agreed outcomes without supervisionPrioritise and plan own workloadDetailed and accurateArticulateExcellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbalAbility to multi-task and prioritise effectivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and financial planning software is desirable but not required.Understand regulatory requirements and keep up to date with any changesAbility to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Please only apply if you have relevant experience Dont miss out on this fantastic opportunity, apply now.
