Along with a competitive salary, you will benefit from a bespoke training package, generous remuneration for sleep-in shifts, and excellent career development prospects.Key Responsibilities:Manage the residential home and ensure its efficient operation in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.Support a team of adults working with young people to achieve the highest care standards.Involve in recruitment activities, including vetting, interviewing, and inducting new staff members.Contribute to the development of a comprehensive team training and development programme to meet the diverse needs of the young people.Help to ensure strong employee retention through support and leadership.Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet the care needs of both new and existing children and young people.Be accountable for liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure the home's operations comply with all required standards.Register with regulatory organisations and uphold the required conditions for the service.Participate in the on-call system and undertake any other duties as required.Job Requirements:Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or Children and Young People's Services, or a willingness to work towards it.Proven experience at a senior level in a residential children's home.A full, clean manual driving licence.Commitment to continued professional development in line with the needs of the children and young people in your care.This is an excellent opportunity to work for a professional and passionate company that truly cares about the well-being of both its employees and the children it supports.
