Site / Senior Engineer – Commercial Groundworks & Earthworks | LeicesterLocation: Leicester Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 + packageWe are recruiting for a leading main contractor delivering large-scale industrial projects, including warehouses, distribution centres, and cold storage facilities. They are seeking a Site Engineer or Senior Engineer with a background in commercial groundworks or earthworks to play a key role in the successful delivery of their projects.Key Responsibilities:Setting out and surveying for large-scale industrial projects.Overseeing groundworks and earthworks, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.Collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain programme and cost efficiency.Ensuring health 'safety protocols are adhered to across all engineering aspects.Providing technical support and problem-solving on-site.Requirements:Experience in commercial groundworks or earthworks within an engineering role.Strong setting-out skills using GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD.Experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.Valid CSCS card and relevant site certifications.This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering major industrial projects.
