With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, they deliver high-quality projects that meet the demands of modern industry.They are looking for an Estimator to join their UK team working out of Birmingham.Estimator:Prepare comprehensive tenders and cost plans for civil engineering aspects of design and build projectsConduct thorough appraisal of tender documents and prepare material/sub-contract enquiriesPerform site visits to identify project-specific risks and constraintsSupport design development with civil engineering expertise and attend key design meetingsDevelop analytical cost estimates including groundworks, foundations and structural elementsEvaluate sub-contractor quotations and manage technical queriesImplement risk management strategies throughout the tender periodLead value engineering initiatives for civil works componentsPresent tenders to senior management and highlight commercial considerationsEnsure smooth transition of project information to the site delivery teamRequired Experience: Civil construction expertise, estimating experience, technical drawing comprehension, documentation skills, attention to detail, strong communication and proficiency with Microsoft/Cost X software.Benefits:Competitive salary package above market rate, dependant on experienceCompany car allowanceGenerous employer pension contribution matchingGreat professional developmentIf this opportunity if well suited to your estimating background in construction and your potential next move, please register your interest with Andersen James today!
