Location: Project/Site based 4-5 days per week (possibility of 1 day working remotely) Status: Contract (renewable) INSIDE IR35 Reports to: Project Manager Morson Talent are delighted to present an opportunity for a suitably qualified Workflow Manager to join our client's established team for work associated with a major energy infrastructure Project in Somerset.Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Typically, the successful candidate would have a Quantity Surveying background with experience across large construction projects.Scope The Workflow Manager (WM) has responsibility for executing the end-to-end on-site planning integration of the delivery, on-site assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities for all permanent building cranes.The WM will ensure planning integration across supplier, area, construction and integrated work schedules including the physical validation of access availability and work progress in the field, ensuring that work proceeds to meet the needs of the overall Project schedule.Dimensions: The cranes contracts interface with five of the Project delivery areas spanning nuclear and conventional islands with equipment to be installed in 34 different buildings across site- each building potentially with moving schedule challenges that create or affect resource levelling challenges that need identifying and mitigating to enable an efficient delivery by the contractor.This contact position is associated with the end-to-end planning integration of two contracts for all permanent building cranes .The Workflow Manager will be responsible for projects that feature: Direct accountability for planning integration management with value in the region of 60m Interaction with French business HQ's and with local site Area, Building, Site Construction and supplier teams together with multi-disciplinary functional support Principal Accountabilities: Deliver the end-to-end on-site planning integration of the delivery, on-site assembly, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities for all permanent building cranes.Ensure planning integration across supplier, area, construction and integrated work schedules including the physical validation of access availability and work progress in the field, ensuring that work proceeds to meet the needs of the overall Project schedule.Ensure resource loaded schedules are developed and maintained for the contract or package of work.Ensure such schedules are consistent with overall Project schedules and escalate any discrepancies Assist the Project Manager to develop and implement strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan, setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders and executing the project strategies within the contract or package of work Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues within the contract or package.Identify planning risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised Ensure that lessons-learnt and knowledge-capture are practiced as business as usual.Interface with other programmes to ensure a high-level view of how the total project is progressing and to identify and adopt the use of best practice Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience: A degree or similar qualification in engineering, construction or related field is desirable but not essential.Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PPQ or other recognised qualification is desirable but not essential.Quantity Surveying qualifications and / or experience Demonstrated experience in: o Engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies for project delivery.o Management of complex contracts.o Control of costs, risk, schedule, and change.o Management of commercial claims and associated negotiation experience.Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software Experience operating within FIDIC commercial arrangements- desirable but not essential.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Leadership and its application in complex projects.Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.Proficient application of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools.Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.Successful experience in engaging multi-level stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and advisors in a regulated environment.ADZN1_UKTJ
