Job Title: Deputy Site Manager (12-Month Contract) Location: Dunbar Ideally based near Dunbar Start Date: ASAP Overview: We are seeking a Deputy Site Manager to support site management activities across Dunbar and Durham . This role will involve overseeing civil and cable works, managing subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards as the HSE representative on site. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily site operations at both Dunbar and Durham sites Oversee civil and cable works and ensure subcontractor work meets quality standards Act as the visual HSE representative , ensuring safety compliance on-site Report site progress, risks, and issues to the Site Manager Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget Requirements: Previous experience in a Deputy Site Manager or similar role in civil or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management practices Proven experience managing subcontractors Desirable: Site Management qualification (e.g., SMSTS or equivalent) Black CSCS card Based near Dunbar or willing to travel regularly to both sites If you are interested in hearing more, please apply today
