Role Overview: As aSandwich Maker , you will play a crucial role in our sandwich department, ensuring that all sandwiches and paninis are prepared, packaged, and dispatched to our 110 stores daily. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Sandwiches and Paninis:Assemble a variety of sandwiches and paninis following company recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality and presentation. Sandwich Mix Preparation:Prepare fresh sandwich fillings, such as chicken mayo and tuna mayo, to support daily production needs. Packaging and Dispatch:Carefully package and label all items, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for dispatch to all 110 shops. Quality Control:Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure all products meet Wenzel’s quality requirements. Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production targets. Compliance:Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. What We’re Looking For: Experience:Previous experience in food preparation or sandwich making is preferred but not essential. Skills:Strong attention to detail, ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, and excellent time management skills. Physical Fitness:The role may involve standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. Flexibility:Willingness to work 5 days over 7, including weekends if required.
