Role: Streetscene OperativeLocation : Moss Side Depot, South Ribble Contract : Full time (36.25 hours per week) / Fixed Term Contract (12 months) Salary : 25,183 - 25,584 Closing Date : 21 April 2025 Are you looking for a role within local government? We are looking for 2 x Cleansing Operatives to join our borough-based cleansing teams. In this role, you will be working all around the borough in an extremely varied role, looking after the borough's community spaces, parks, and streets. You will be ensuring that they are in perfect condition for the residents, wider community, and visitors to the borough. What will your role include?You will get involved with street cleansing tasks such as removal of fly tipping and daily cleansing of local areas. To complete daily schedules utilizing digital platforms. Always maintaining health and safety protocols whilst working. Operate cleansing tools and vehicles. Responding to minor emergencies such as flooding, obstructions, and damaged street furniture. Who we are looking for?You will be helping keep community spaces looking their best, so we are looking for someone who can really take pride in their work. A team player and good communicator!
