It comprises Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital and more than 30 services in the community. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the post of Renal Cancer Fellow (Post-CCT) to commence on the 1st October 2026 for a period of 12 months. This fellowship is a recognised post by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and BAUS, which will provide an excellent opportunity for a senior trainee who wants to develop a career in Upper Urinary Tract Surgery. Main duties of the jobThe fellow will gain skills in open, laparoscopic and robotic upper urinary tract surgery for all aspects of both benign and cancer diseases. The appointee will participate in the Specialist Registrars’ rota. Person specificationQualifications/Training/EducationPossession of MBBS or equivalent medical qualification GMC registration Good Clinical Practice Certificate Skills & KnowledgeExperience with clinical oncological trials Strong affinity with clinical and oncological research, preferably in renal cell carcinoma Strong oral and written communications skills in English Ability to build good relationships and work collaboratively with staff at all levels Ability to relate to patients from diverse backgrounds Other RequirementsCommitted to personal development and learning on the job Motivated to do an excellent job to best of ability Getting vaccinated, and getting a booster, remains the best defence against COVID-19.
