Fox Resourcing are looking for class 1 drivers for our client based in Rugby on either an ongoing or ADHOC basis.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving:Operating vehicles over 7.5 tonnes for long or short distances, both nationally and internationally. Planning Routes:Collaborating with transport managers to plan delivery schedules and routes. Loading and Unloading:Supervising or assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are safely secured. Vehicle Maintenance:Performing basic checks, such as oil, tyre, and brake inspections. Paperwork:Completing delivery documentation and maintaining accurate logbooks. Adaptability:Adjusting routes based on traffic reports or unforeseen circumstances. Skills and QualificationsDriving Licence:A valid HGV Class 1 licence and Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Attention to Detail:Ensuring safety and compliance with traffic laws. Physical Fitness:Ability to lift and carry goods when required. Customer Service:Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
