This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee multiple demolition projects from start to finish - with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and team coordination.They are looking for someone with hands-on industry experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of demolition practices and legislation.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple demolition projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Oversee site operations, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure statutory compliance. Drive health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures across all sites. Mentor and support site teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Maintain regular communication with clients, attending progress meetings and resolving issues as they arise. Support the commercial team with payment applications and pricing project variations. Produce method statements and risk assessments ahead of project launch. Manage subcontractors and uphold strong working relationships across the board. Stay up to date with relevant legislation and ensure staff training is in line with company standards. Take full ownership of the delivery schedule and ensure successful project outcomes. Contribute to estimating and quoting for new business opportunities. What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a contracts management role within the demolition industry (essential). Strong understanding of demolition techniques, regulations, tools, and equipment. Experience with project planning, cost management, and quality control. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience managing subcontractors and large teams across multiple sites. Construction-related degree preferred, but not essential for the right candidate. Full UK driver's licence required.
